Elevation chart:

The Bear started at the Dunnet Head, which, as he discovered last year, is a far North as you can get on mainland. He then made his way over to the North-West corner, but did not manage to get to Cape Wrath as the ferry man felt the wind was too dangerous to cross over. Following that, the Bear flew down various western roads towards Bealach Na Ba - a pass of Applecross Peninsula, which happens to be the third highest road in UK with over 600 meters climb, - easy! Having conquered the pass, he continued onto the Isle Of Skye, did a loop around most if the island and hopped onto a ferry across to Mallaig. Sanna Bay was next, where the Bear took a nap before hopping over onto Isle Of Mull. Having zoomed past the west coast of the island, he sailed back onto mainland for some crab sandwiches in Oban. Having then passed Inveraray, the Bear has stopped for a cup of tea at Rest And Be Thankful and promptly finished off with sprint back home. Done!
