Special EVENTS

Programmed by John Cavanagh |

TOM DALZEL - Saturday 6th October | 1pm

For our October music event, we welcome back someone who is no stranger to Sharmanka Kinetic Theatre. Tom Dalzell first performed at the gallery with electronic improvisors The Red Ensemble, of which he was a founding member. He made his solo debut at Sharmanka with his short lived project, Before We Go to Heaven and has also performed as Lives As Omens (dark ambient) and Jazzhandstemazepamman (post-punk electronic).

He returns to Sharmanka on 6th October with a set of ambient music, which will include a tribute to his favourite of Eduard Bersudky's marvellous mechanical kinetic sculptures, Nickodym, which Tom affectionately refers to as Cockman.

The music will start shortly after 1pm. Donations will be collected for our performer as audience members leave the gallery.
